This year FinTech Global, a data and research firm, launched their inaugural WealthTech 100 report to find the world’s most innovative WealthTech (wealth / investment management technology) companies in the wealth and asset management industries.
About the WealthTech 100
The 100 companies were chosen by a panel of industry experts and analysts who reviewed over 1,000 WealthTech companies undertaken by FinTech Global. Companies who made the final list were recognized for their innovative use of technology to solve a significant industry problem, or to generate cost savings or efficiency improvements across the investment value chain. These are companies that "every leader in the wealth and asset management industries needs to know about".
We were honoured to be selected as one of the top 100 most innovative WealthTech companies in the world, and even more proud to be one of the few companies to represent Canada. The majority of companies were based in the United States and Europe, with the US and UK companies comprising over 50% of the companies in the list.

How We're Different
Systelos focuses on shifting the value proposition of advisors from only delivering investment returns to guiding behaviors that create wealth and well-being. We do this by aggregating clients’ complete financial life in one place, clustering client segments with similar needs, and delivering personalized wealth recommendations at scale.
"We believe that the advisory profession will go beyond investments to manage the behaviors that create wealth and wellbeing,” says Jad Chehlawi, Founder and CEO of Systelos. “I’m very happy to see our innovation efforts validated. Nothing is more powerful than an idea whose time has come."
WealthTech Investments Growing
Although digital payments is leading the “fintech revolution” as the most mature innovation, WealthTech is one of the fastest growing vertical of fintech, having grown five-fold since 2014 to reach $4.6bn in funding last year. FinTech Global director Richard Sachar said,
“With the rise of mobile and digital distribution channels, new business models and personal finance consumer propositions, the wealth management industry is undergoing huge change".
